I get a 403 - HTTP (forbidden) error!

This 403 error is different from the one described previously as receiving this error has more serious ramifications than the previous one does. This particular 403 error does not redirect in some browsers and can be clearly identified by it's lack of AwardSpace logos within those browsers, and by it's actual page name in the browsers it does redirect. In those redirecting browsers the page is called f403.php and it does bare the AwardSpace logo. But more importantly it can be distinguished by the actual name printed in your browser's title bar "403 - HTTP (forbidden)"

So what does this error mean? Well it could be either of these two most common reasons.

The first reason is your account may have been disabled due to a violation of the TOS. This usually is the cause for users who have had their accounts for a fair amount of time.
Login to your AwardSpace account to check whether your account has been disabled.

This fp403 error + inability to login = account disabled.

If you can't login contact support@awardspace.com to confirm whether your account was actually disabled, as this error has also been previously associated with server/account misconfiguration issues particularly for users of cp2 and cp7.

If you can still login to your awardspace account, then it is likely due to this second reason "incorrectly uploaded files" and this is commonly experienced by new AwardSpace users.

This is rather difficult to explain how to fix, so it would be preferred that you only contact the users listed in the "Forum Support" usergroup on the AwardSpace forums or contact support@awardspace.com if you receive this error and still have the ability to login to your account. You will need to give the support/sales team or the "Forum Support" access to your AwardSpace account in order for them to help. For your protection only the "Forum Support" usergroup members (clearly identified by their forum ranks of "System Admin" or "Forum Admin") are trusted to act appropriately with your account.

DO NOT GIVE ACCESS TO YOUR AWARDSPACE ACCOUNT TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT WITHIN THE FORUM SUPPORT USERGROUP OR THE SUPPORT/SALES TEAM.
